How do courses like this get such high state and national rankings? The layout is bad and fairways are worse but the greens are among the best.

The course was awesome. I enjoyed the difficulty and challenge presented by the layout and wetlands throughout the course. The greens were absolutely perfect. The entire course was still very firm and fast. I will believe golf digest's rankings (#9 in Wash. State) over the gentleman from Chilliwack, B.C. I believe the previous review is way off base. Go see for yourself. If you enjoy challenging (difficult but fair) golf, here is a good test.
